What a unique multi color Tourmaline! A parti-colored tourmaline forms when the chemical composition of the hydrothermal fluid changes during crystal growth, causing different colors to develop in the same crystal, often appearing as distinct zones or bands of color within the stone like this!
This one of a kind pendant 14kt Yellow Gold is composed from a modified Tulip Knot above a basket set square, emerald cut 7.30ct (11mm) Parti-Color Tourmaline (green to pink) and accented with a 4pt diamond in a bezel near top. Hangs on an 18" gold chain. Measures 1 3/4" x 1/2".
