Product Description
Labradorite is a calcium-enriched feldspar mineral first identified in Labrador, Canada, which can display an iridescent effect known as labradorescence, an optical effect that creates iridescent flashes of color. These colors are caused by the interference and refraction of light as it passes through the stone's layered structure.
Rob created this pendant, in sterling & 14kt rose gold, using a retired silver Gerwyn knot above a 40ct (30x22mm) rectangle Labradorite cabochon in a solid back silver bezel. It is accented at the bottom with a textured silver bib, a gold curved piece, 2 gold beads and a 6mm Citrine cabochon in a gold bezel. A silver jump ring connects to a sterling chain, you can choose your desired length in the drop down menu. The pendant measures 2 3/4 inches long and 7/8 inch wide.
